What's New For 2021?
There are only a few minor upgrades for the 2021 edition of the Subaru Legacy. Now standard is a set of adaptive headlights that swivel along with the steering wheel when you're turning, helping to illuminate the road around bends and curves, while amplifying your own visibility for oncoming traffic. There's also a standard seatbelt reminder for all five seats.
Performance and Capabilities
Two engine options for the Legacy give you a couple of different driving styles. Most drivers will do well with the standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder, producing an easy 182 horsepower and providing strong efficiency levels for your daily commuting. For more power, upgrade to the available turbocharged four-cylinder found in the Limited XT and Touring XT trims, giving you a 260-horsepower performance level. All Legacy editions use the standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system to give you better traction and control, which is especially helpful when traversing through tough winter weather we sometimes experience around Cherry Hill and Camden.
Trim Levels and Technology
The new Subaru Legacy is offered in six distinct trim levels: the base package, Premium, Sport, Limited, Limited XT and Touring XT. You'll start off nicely with standard touchscreen commands, smartphone integration, satellite radio and more on the infotainment front. The base Legacy model also includes the standard Subaru EyeSight safety suite that features forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and keeping assist and automatic high beams. Upgrading to the higher trims will add a larger touchscreen, better audio equipment and more driver aids and other options you'll want to consider.
