Cherry Hill, NJ September 29, 2015– In an effort to support education and work to make a positive impact, Subaru of Cherry supported the Cherry Hill Public School District by partnering with the American Association for the Advancement of Science as part of a larger Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) effort this month called “Subaru Loves Learning.”
Throughout the month of August, team members
from Subaru of Cherry Hill supported their local community by donating one new
science book for each new Subaru that was bought or leased. The books will be distributed equally among
the twelve elementary schools within the Cherry Hill Public School
District. The books that were donated
include the following titles:
· Tiny Creatures: The World of Microbes, by Nicola Davies
· Sisters & Brothers: Sibling Relationships in the Animal World, by Steve Jenkins & Robin Page
· Parrots Over Puerto Rico, by Susan L. Roth, Cindy Trumbore
· Danger! Volcanoes, by Seymour Simon
· An Egg Is Quiet, by Dianna Aston
The Subaru Loves Learning initiative reflects SOA’s corporate goals to improve education and the lives of those in the local communities where we live and work. Throughout the month, both SOA and local retailers across the country have hosted events to show their commitment to education in a variety of ways – all part of the larger Subaru Love Promise effort dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.
The Subaru Love Promise is a promise to do right by our community by partnering with nonprofit education, health, community, environment, and animal organizations. Our mission is to be unlike any other car company by doing what is right, just for the sake of doing it.
