Subaru of Cherry Hill is proud to announce that on
Tuesday, March 18th, 2014, Subaru of America, Inc. and Subaru of Cherry Hill will present a check to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia who was a partner in the 2013 Subaru "Share the Love" event.

The check for $7416.51 will be presented to CHOP by Ziad Nashed, Dealer Principal, Subaru of Cherry Hill. The donation will be used for the Children’s Fund at CHOP, which is their greatest need.

From Nov. 21, 2013 to Jan. 2, 2014, customers who purchased or leased a new Subaru vehicle could select from a list of charities to receive a donation of $250 from SOA.  This year, Subaru of America, Inc. donated $10 million to participating charities. Over the last six years SOA has donated $35 million to a number of worthy causes through the Share the Love event.

SOA selected the five national charities: ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals On Wheels Association of America®, National Park Foundation and Teach for America. Subaru retailers could also elect to add a sixth, local charity and Subaru of Cherry Hill selected CHOP as its local partner.

In addition, Subaru of Cherry Hill partnered with CHOP during the Share the Love Season for Reach out and Read.  We were proud to collect over 500 new and gently used books from our customers and staff.  The books were donated directly to CHOP.

In order to maximize the partnership a little further, on November 17, 2013, the Subaru of Cherry Hill team volunteered at CHOP. They set up winter and holiday themed arts and crafts for the children and their families to create. This was a heartwarming experience that they hope to continue in the future. Some of the outstanding art work was transformed into a mailer that we sent to their customers who purchased during the Share the Love season.
